MKII Glock Aimpoint ACRO Optic Cut
Taking our Glock ACRO optic cut to the extreme! This is the lowest cut we have for the Aimpoint ACRO on a Glock slide which allows the factory sights to provide a co-witness. This requires no modification to the optic and will keep your optic's warranty in tact. We have also made some updates to the optic pocket design to address some of the manufacturing variances observed on current production ACRO P-2's and C-2's.
This machining service applies to all Glock models EXCEPT the G17L, slimline series of pistols, and rimfire models. There are only two configurations we offer for the ACRO on a Glock slide: elimination of the rear iron sight, or a new forward dovetail machined in front of the optic. This is due to the length of the optic. Please read all points below:
- Two available mounting options:
- Elimination of the rear iron sight (dovetail eliminator)
- Rear iron sight mounted in front of the optic (irons forward)
- Price does not include refinishing. Carbon steel slides will have a cold blue and oil coat applied to the machined pocket. Stainless steel slides will recieve an oil coat to the machined pocket.
- Cerakote can be added to your order HERE
- It is REQUIRED that the optic be supplied with the slide for machining and installation. We measure and fit EACH optic to each slide we install them on. We do this to ensure the most secure installation possible.
- Current leadtimes are located at the top of the webpage.
- THIS IS FOR THE MACHINE WORK FOR THE OPTIC INSTALLATION ONLY!!! The optic is not included!
- You are responsible for shipping cost / shipping your slide in to us. The shipping charge added at checkout covers the cost of return shipping back to you via USPS Flat Rate. If you would like to add insurance to your package (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) you can do so HERE.
Recommend Iron Sights
For our MK2 Glock Aimpoint ACRO cut in a forward dovetail configuration we suggest the following when choosing iron sights for your setup:
- The factory 6.1mm sights will provide a very low but useable co-witness.
- If you are planning on using aftermarket sights we suggest keeping the blade height or the height above the slide at .225" or lower for the rear sight.
- The rear sight should be a MOS profile with minimal overhang behind the sight dovetail to prevent running into the optic.
