Vortex Defender ST / XL Optic Cut for Glock Slides

Vortex Defender ST / XL Optic Cut for Glock Slides

This is for the machining and installation of the Vortex Defender ST and XL on a Glock Slide This includes all models EXCEPT the slimline series of pistols and rimfire models. The factory rear dovetial will be elimintaed due to the size of the optic but we can machine a new dovetail in front of the optic (please note that the dovetail will not be usaeable with the Defender XL due to the lens hood design).
 
Please read all points below:
 
  • Three mounting options are available:
    • Eliminate the factory rear sight
    • New Glock pattern dovetail machined in front of the optic (compatible with the Defender ST only)
  • Price does not include refinishing. Carbon steel slides will have a cold blue and oil coat applied to the machined pocket. Stainless steel slides will recieve an oil coat to the machined pocket.
  • Cerakote can be added to your order HERE
  • It is REQUIRED that the optic be supplied with the slide for machining and installation. We measure and fit EACH optic to each slide we install them on. We do this to ensure the most secure installation possible. 
  • Current leadtimes are located at the top of the webpage.
  • THIS IS FOR THE MACHINE WORK FOR THE OPTIC INSTALLATION ONLY!!! The optic is not included!
  • You are responsible for shipping cost / shipping your slide in to us. The shipping charge added at checkout covers the cost of return shipping back to you via USPS Flat Rate. If you would like to add insurance to your package (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) you can do so HERE.
